For 2024 the Toyota Tundra is offered is seven trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone. The first five have the turbo V6 standard and the last two come standard with the same engine paired to a hybrid system. Additionally, the Tundra is available in many configurations to meet different truck owners' needs, with two- or 4-wheel drive, three cab styles (regular, Double Cab and CrewMax), three bed lengths, three wheelbases and two different V8 engines.

The 3.4L twin-turbo V6 makes 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque and is standard on all models or the i-Force MAX Hybrid V6 that makes 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque, along with 10-speed automatic transmission for both engines set-up. CrewMax models also have a unique reclining and sliding rear seat, Double Cabs also get a folding seat bottom that allows for an under rear seat storage area.

Three bed sizes are available depending on the model Tundra chosen: 5.5-foot short bed, 6.5-foot standard bed or 8.1-foot-long bed. The steel tailgate is designed to be opened and closed with just two fingers, and there's also an available Deck Rail system for more individualized cargo arrangements.

All Tundras have frame rails and rolled C-channel members underpin the truck. All Tundras come with a tow hitch receiver (except SR trim) and when properly equipped, is rated to tow 12,000 pounds.

The Tundra ranges from basic to very luxurious inside depending on the trim level, starting at the spartan SR model and going all the way up to the very well-appointed Platinum, TRD Pro, or 1794 Edition. Each trim adds more equipment and features to the existent on the previous trim. The SR5 trims get an upgraded Entune audio system, 18-inch aluminum wheels, power sliding rear window, TOW/HAUL and TOW+ driving modes, class IV tow package with integrated trailer brake controller, and LED fog lights. For those looking for enhanced off-road performance, Toyota offers the TRD Pro trim, which comes with 18-inch BBS forged black aluminum wheels, TRD-tuned Fox suspension and 1.1-inch front lift, Multi-Terrain Select with Crawl Control, electronic locking rear differential, tuned dual exhaust, and heritage-inspired grille with LED light bar and marker lights.

The Tundra offers a very comprehensive set of standard safety features. Front-seat side airbags are standard on all models, along with roll-sensing 1st and 2nd row side-curtain airbags and a front seats knee airbag. Four-wheel disc brakes with vehicle stability control are standard on all Tundra. The Tundra also features standard trailer sway control programming and brake override technology. It utilizes the truck's stability control system to detect unintended side-to-side movement at the rear wheels. Should the system detect movement, the truck's anti-lock brake system is used to counteract yaw and prevent jack-knifing. A trailer brake controller allows the driver to control the amount of brake boost applied to the trailer's electric brakes when the driver applies the vehicle's brakes. Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 includes pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full speed range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, road sign assist, and automatic high beams.
