The entry-level 2-door GT 43 is powered by a handcrafted AMG 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 416 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft of torque. This powertrain includes Formula 1-derived electric exhaust gas turbocharger technology for responsive performance throughout the rev range, enabling 0-60 mph acceleration in an estimated 4.5 seconds. The 4-door GT 43 is powered by a 3L turbocharged 6-cylinder engine producing 362 horsepower.
The GT 55 features a handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 bi-turbo engine generating 469 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft of torque, capable of reaching 60 mph in approximately 3.8 seconds. Moving up to the GT 63 increases output to 577 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft of torque, reducing the 0-60 mph time to around 3.1 seconds.
The range-topping GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE combines the 4.0L V8 biturbo with a rear-axle electric motor in a P3 hybrid configuration, delivering a combined system output of 805 horsepower and 1,047 lb.-ft of torque. This powertrain enables acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, making it the quickest AMG series production model. The hybrid system includes a 6.1 kWh high-performance battery and a 3.7 kW onboard charger.
All variants utilize the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed transmission. While the GT 43 features rear-wheel drive, all other models come standard with AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive with variable torque distribution.
Standard equipment across the lineup includes AMG performance seats trimmed in Nappa leather, a 12.3-inch widescreen digital instrument cluster paired with an 11.9-inch central display, MBUX infotainment system with navigation, Burmester surround sound, and distinctive AMG-specific features such as the AMG Performance steering wheel with integrated drive mode controls. Higher trim levels add features like heated and ventilated front seats, head-up display, and carbon ceramic brakes.
